"Power. Focus. Passion."
24 year old Matt Odermatt is moving from strength to strength. Between winning gold at the 2022 Olympics in the highly technical giant slalom discipline and a winning streak of World Cups in five of the alpine skiing disciplines, he also represents state-of-the-art sports clothing brand X-Bionic. Welcome to the team, Marco!
X-Bionic stands for a long-standing partnership with Swiss SKI and for top quality. I have been wearing X-Bionic products for years in training and competition.
As an X-Athlete, Marco benefits daily from over 800 registered patents and award-winning products by X-Bionic. When the stakes are this high, every single detail needs to be thoroughly explored and investigated. We take care of the clothing down to the atom, so Marco can ski, train and compete in confidence.
Marco’s world cup debut was in 2016, aged 18. Since then, his trophy cabinet has never gone a season without being added to. Marco is very accomplished in speed events, like downhill and super-G, as well as team and alpine combined competitions but his specialisation is the giant slalom. In this video he talks about his preparations before and thoughts during competitions that keeps those trophies coming in
Stay calm, take a deep breath, then give it all you've got!
Marco is very proud of his Swiss origins, “I do sing the national anthem with a lot of passion”. Many of his endorsements are of Swiss origin, X-Bionic included. Marco takes pride in his high end endorsements and of course, his fans - like these primary school students in Richterswil. Anywhere Marco competes there is a huge turn out of support, cheering him on. At the time of writing, Marco is competing at his first Winter Olympics and X-Bionic is delighted to help this phenomenal athlete reach higher at every step of his career.
