MEET HARRIET DAVEY

3D artist Harriet Davey is from the UK and lives in Berlin, but their work comes straight from cyberspace. Known for creating supernatural characters, they are also an avid cyclist and a co-founder of Berlin's Chicane Bike Club – a FLINTA-led cycling community that supports and celebrates every rider's journey.

"I’m a gamer, dreamer, community builder. You can usually find me at my computer dreaming up worlds or on my bike somewhere in the middle of nowhere, either way escapism is key."

BORN FROM MOVEMENT

For Harriet, it was important that the design of the jersey matched the dynamism it's intended for.

"We tend to forget that the body is a moving target. It folds, bends, creases... I bring you an exoskeleton, formed to the body it envelopes. Smooth yet strong, fast yet gentle, protective yet dangerous. "Four unique charms in the form of individual characters adorn your shoulders. Will these creatures be the angel that guides you? Or the devil that pushes you faster and further?"

LOOK SUPERNATURAL. FEEL SUPERNATURAL.

The aero fit and advanced cooling of the CoreFusion® Aero Jersey are engineered to Feel Supernatural. For the Artist Series Edition, we wanted a look to match. The combination of our 3D-knitted structures and Harriet's 3D work felt like the perfect match. And as a rider themselves, Harriet understood the brief straight away.

"The jersey feels so cohesive with my world, that the physical jersey could have been plucked from the back of any of my characters. Harriet explains. As someone pulls this jersey over their arms they should feel a familiarity with the characters that greet them. I hope that they love the way the design fits to their body, and they see how these shapes and exoskeleton form around the shape of their torso."
