The new 4.0 generation is the first to feature the Retina® ultra-high definition quality for maximum precision of functionality. The result is an ultra-tight knitted fabric in which thermoregulating functional zones are precisely positioned and can act with pinpoint accuracy. Insulation Zones prevent heat loss through the top of the head, and the legendary patented 3D Bionic Sphere® system enables adaptive thermoregulation by cooling when you sweat and warming when you are cold. Sweat Traps® catch the sweat before it starts to flow and support the temperature balance through targeted evaporation. At the temples, the AirConditioningSpot absorbs excess moisture, allows it to evaporate to the outside and at the same time prevents excessive cooling.
