Frequently Asked Questions
Who are the CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Long built for?
Who are the CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Long built for?
The CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Long is built for the cyclist who keeps showing up through winter. If you ride exposed roads in autumn and winter, do steady base-mile blocks in the cold, descend long when the air bites, and do not see winter as an off-season, this is your bib tight. Full-length Symbionic® windproof protection shields quads, knees and lower legs from cold airflow, 3D Bionic Sphere® with ThermoSyphon® manages heat and sweat across the back, and the cold-condition chamois carries you through long winter saddle time. No winter off-season.
How do the CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Long fit?
How do the CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Long fit?
The Ride Bib Warm Long fits true to size with a winter-stable performance fit: snug enough to keep the windproof front sealed against the leg, free enough for full pedal motion. Order your normal X-BIONIC® size. The chamois is anatomically shaped, with gender-specific cold-condition versions for men and women. The full-length cut covers the lower leg over the ankle bone. If you size between two, take the smaller; the windproof membrane works only when the bib tight sits clean against the leg, not floating.
Where do the CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Long sit in the X-BIONIC® cycling range?
Where do the CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Long sit in the X-BIONIC® cycling range?
The CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Long is the €290 full-length cold-condition bib tight. It sits above the CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Shorts at €240 by extending Symbionic® windproof protection from the quads through knees and lower legs. The Warm Shorts are the shoulder-season cut for the gap between summer kit and full winter. The Warm Long is for deeper cold, exposed winter roads and full-leg coverage. For warm-season riding, the CoreFusion® Ride Bib Shorts and CoreFusion® Ride Gravel Bib remain the right choice.
What does Symbionic® windproof protection actually do?
What does Symbionic® windproof protection actually do?
Symbionic® is a windproof membrane built into the front of the bib tight, shielding the leg from cold airflow on descents and exposed roads. It is the defining feature of the Warm Long; the windproof front is the reason this product exists. Behind that, 3D Bionic Sphere® with ThermoSyphon® manages the heat and sweat your effort still generates in cold conditions. The bib tight does two things at the same time: keeps cold air off the front of the leg, moves warm sweat off the back. Wind protection and active sweat management, not just insulation.
Why do I need a winter-specific bib tight if I already have summer bibs and warmers?
Why do I need a winter-specific bib tight if I already have summer bibs and warmers?
Because layering summer bibs and arm/leg warmers does not handle cold airflow the way a windproof membrane does. On descents and exposed roads, cold air drives straight through standard knit fabrics; warmers buffer, they do not block. The CoreFusion® Ride Bib Warm Long blocks at the front, breathes at the back, and gives you a single piece engineered for winter saddle time. Combined with the cold-condition chamois sized for long winter rides, you stop training around the weather and train through it.
