UTMB 2025 is the world’s most iconic trail running race, held each August in Chamonix, France. Spanning 171 km across France, Italy, and Switzerland with 10,000 meters of elevation gain, it draws elite athletes and passionate runners from around the globe to compete in the heart of the Alps.
UTMB 2025 – Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc is the ultimate challenge in trail running, taking place from August 25 to 31, 2025 in Chamonix, France. The flagship 171 km race crosses through France, Italy, and Switzerland, with nearly 10,000 meters of elevation gain through the heart of the Alps.
The event brings together thousands of elite and amateur runners from around the world. Alongside the main UTMB, other popular races include the CCC (Courmayeur–Champex–Chamonix), OCC (Orsières–Champex–Chamonix), and TDS (Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie), offering unique experiences for a wide range of endurance athletes.
