PERFORMANCE INNOVATION. Improved insulating qualities, decreased drying time. The spirit of invention is part of human nature. In particular, it’s part of the spirit of Prof. Bodo W. Lambertz and his team of Swiss developers. Thanks to dedicated research, they have accomplished a breaththrough success: the creation of xitanit® 2.0, the highest-performing version of the top-end material xitanit®. Its innovative, one-of-a-kind effect is now realised in the new X-BIONIC® Radiactor EVO.

Air-Conditioning Channel® for X-SOCKS®

We positioned the Air-Conditioning Channel® under the arch of the foot, the area that normally does not touch the ground. It begins there and then moves along the foot up to the cuff. Covering only 30 % of the skin’s surface, it is constructed using a fine-knit mesh, so with every step, moist air is pumped out of the shoe and fresh air is drawn back in. An optimal air circulation system for the foot is now a reality: fresh air can even be circulated within a snug-fitting shoe.

ExpansionKnee

A knee can bend up to 160°: however, most pants can’t withstand this stress without being pulled thin and hence, resulting in a loss of functional insulation. In contrast, the accordionlike construction of the Expansion Ribs® retains its insulating properties rather than losing them when the knee bends. A highly flexible system of chambers and channels spreads open with each movement, releasing the warm air stored inside.

InsulationPads

The X-BIONIC® InsulationPads assist in the retention of heat in the thighs and thus reduce the risk of injury. Shaped like waves, their protection lies over a large surface of the most superficial thigh muscle, thereby retaining the necessary heat next to the body to maintain muscle performance.

Dear sir or madam,

There is an issue to choose correct size of the pants.
I am looking Radiactor Evo set for snowboarding. I have tryed it on in a local store. However consultant in a store could not explain exactly how the pants should fit correctly. In accordance to my feellings S/M size is slightly small (high compression), L/XL is slightly big (low compression). The both sizes are skintight.
Could you recommend me please what exact size should be chosen? Unfortunately there are not enough information in website to evaluate size in a right way.
My measures are:
Height 185cm, weight 75 kg, chest 101cm, waist 80cm, hip 92cm.

Looking forward to your soonest answer.

Dear Max Sdkn,

Thank you for your question, when it comes to the compression level we always recommend skintight but not so tight that you have the feeling it constricts you. It is important that the technologies have direct skin contact so that they can function properly. Based on your measurements it is hard to give an advice from the far. Having your height in mind, the length of size L/XL would probably be the better choice. On the other hand, the waist size of S/M would ensure the perfect fit around your hips. It is always best to do what you did - try it on at your local store. As it seems you may be in between sizes - so I recommend to choose the size where a good skin contact is ensured and suits your personal needs in terms of compression (high or low) best.

Would be interested to know, which size you have chosen in the end. That would be very helpful.

Kind regards,

Sarah
