The X-BIONIC® ENERGY ACCUMULATOR 4.0 ARMADILLO is the world's first cut and abrasion resistant decision layer - developed together with Swiss-Ski and certified by FIS - to reduce injuries during winter training and competitions. The product protects athletes from injuries like cutting and abrasion that might occur when falling on the slopes or sliding off piste. Additionally, 3D structures help to manage sweat and maintain a 37°C core body temperature. The unique FLEX-SKIN 4.0 material was developed using the precise principle of the Armadillo: Protective material is selectively positioned only on exposed and vulnerable zones. This high-tech baselayer for enthusiastic winter sports athletes integrates a variety of thermoregulatory and protective features. The legendary patented 3D Bionic Sphere® System with ThermoSyphon® technology is more powerful than ever: Complex 3D structures and Y-shaped elements maximize air exchange, cool when you sweat, and warm when you are cold - now faster and more efficient than ever. Functional zones such as the Innerlap AirConditioning Zone® on the inside of the thighs and the ISO-CalfPad in the calf area regulate the temperature and increase performance.
