Manfred Reis, known as „Manne“, showed his talent with 18 years winning the 2008 U23 German championships. With the U23 Title, Manne made history as the youngest athlete of all time to win the gold medal. The newly formed FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC Worldcup Team has secured the services of the giant talent until 2012. Manne joins the Austrian U23 Champion Simon Scheiber as the second young rider in the Team. There will be no shortage of bread in the Team, with Manne working also as a skilled Baker. The German talent decided in 2005 for his career as a mountain biker, experiencing a rapid rise in performance. Manne sees a great chance to develop in the FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC Worldcup Team: „I am still young. The Team offers me the best conditions to improve. I have the possibility to learn from the Top stars in the Team and to benefit from the professional environment“, commented the sympathetic youngster. The dream for Manne is to compete for his country at the Olympic Games, whether it be 2012 or 2016 time will tell.
