      Would the football pad system

Would the football pad system also improve thermal management under fire resistant clothing worn by fire fighters? Is X Bionic able to resist flame or at least does not ignight or self extinguish? Is there a possibility to get this type of capability for fire fighters? It gets very hot under the gear and it would be very helpful if we could have a layer that improves our ability to climb stairs and ladders more effectively while loaded down with SCBA and other geat.

This may sound a bit odd, but

This may sound a bit odd, but it might be worth looking at the Trekking shirt, with its in-built cushioning across the shoulders. The honeycomb structure of this cushioning area still allows good ventilation. (There's also the Winter Trekking shirt for cooler conditions.)

Alternatively, assuming that during a typical game you'll alternate between intense activity and lengthy periods on the touchline, then the Energizer shirt would probably work well. It will certainly cool you when active, but then keep the muscles warm when at rest.

      Regarding the Fire Resistance

Regarding the Fire Resistance I heard that there is a special X-Bionic garment made for Formula1 Racers. This has to be FiA approved and this approval should be meeting the requirements for self ignition and flame resistancance. The Garment is called X-Bionic Fire Shield which says much about its purpose I guess ;)
