I want to buy some socks and I need to know which model suits me more for the occasion.

I am going to do the Spanish route called Way of St. James" for 15 days, 25 km per day walking as average. 12 of the stages are really flat tracks and they do not have geographical features but 3 of them have quite uneven ascents and descents and the terrain is very irregular. The trail is wide and defined but it has a lot of rocks.

The temperatures shall fluctuate between 25 and 35 degrees under the sun.

I am going to wear trail trainers with goretex.

I would be glad to know if I need a specific model or several models depending on the trail and which ones are the most suitable.

Thank you very much in advance.

      Hi tasadar, this sounds like

      Hi tasadar,
this sounds like a taff tour. I can recommend you the X-SOCKS Trekking Silver. I used them during my ascent to Kilimanjaro this year. They protect your feets very well and the silver prevents foot odour and athletes foot. My favourite trekking sock!!

The X-Cross Bandage stabilizes the ankle joint. Even if I love trekking trainers, I would consider to wear trekking boots, if the terrain is difficult to walk.

Another option would be the trekking evolution. It is a little bit warmer, because of the integrated second sock. This sock-in-sock system prevents blisters and is used for long distance walks. It has a X-Cross bandage too and protectors for toes, achilles tendon and heel.

Both types of sock have an integrated AirConditioning Channel. So there is a good ventilation.

      I hope this advice helps.

      Best regards,
      X-BIONIC Team
