Michi, official X-Bionic Tester, was somewhat sceptical about our latest functional underwear – the Radiactor™ Shirt und Radiactor™ Pants. At temperatures somewhere around freezing, he completed a run from Pfäffikon to Altendorf, Lake Zurich.
To get away from the traffic, Michi decided on a tough route over the high plateau away from the roads. For additional protection against the cold and damp conditions, he took only a rain jacket. The Radiactor™ cooling function on the front of the thigh muscles was very noticeable, he commented. “On the long 280m ascent up into the hills the function had the opposite effect and kept my legs warm. On my upper body, the T-shirt produced a pleasant cooling effect – just what I needed.”
The unique 3D-BionicSphere® System provides excellent heat regulation. SweatTraps absorb excessive perspiration and transfer it the surface where it evaporates, providing effective cooling. The cooling function only kicks in when the body starts to sweat. “At the end of the training session only the 3D-BionicSphere® System was damp with sweat,” confirmed Michi. Test result: “Perfect functionality, suitable for everyone.”
